In Part 1, you will find an introduction to ‘Yoga for Pregnancy’, followed by two accessible, gentle practices, as well as essential information. Get tips to improve your posture and learn practices that synch your movement to your breath. Maintain confidence and resilience in your rapidly changing body, while gently strengthening your muscles, and preparing your mind for the journey through pregnancy towards a comfortable birth.
IMPORTANT: Always check with your doctor before taking on a new practice. It is essential that you only stretch to 70% of your range in pregnancy, as the presence of the hormone elastin can cause you to overstretch without feeling discomfort. Never go beyond your limits and stop practicing if you feel pain, or become dizzy.
